A Childhood Woven with Culture
At Liwanay, we believe clothing can do more than dress a child. It can spark curiosity, carry stories, preserve traditions, and help children grow up connected to a world that is beautifully diverse.
Every collection begins with a simple idea:
Culture belongs in everyday life — not only in museums or on special occasions.
We want children to wear it, explore it, and grow up with it.
WHY ATLAS?
Patterns shaped before the fabric is woven.
Atlas, also known internationally as Ikat, is a centuries-old textile tradition connected to Central Asia and the Silk Road.
Unlike printed fabrics, Atlas patterns are created before the fabric is woven. Threads are carefully tied, dyed, and woven by skilled artisans, creating flowing patterns that can never be repeated in exactly the same way.
A WORLD OF COLOR
Because childhood should never feel ordinary.
Children naturally see the world through color. Bold blues, warm reds, bright yellows, fresh greens, and joyful pinks can inspire imagination, encourage curiosity, and bring happiness into everyday childhood.
Rich Blue
Curiosity and wonder.
Warm Red
Energy and celebration.
Golden Yellow
Joy and light.
Fresh Green
Growth and nature.
Soft Pink
Warmth and playfulness.
EVERY PATTERN TELLS A STORY
Inspired by nature, memory, and movement.
Flowing Lines
Echoing rivers, wind, clouds, and the rhythms of nature.
Botanical Motifs
Celebrating growth, family, abundance, and new beginnings.
Modern Interpretations
Honoring tradition while becoming part of children’s everyday adventures.
LEARNING THROUGH WHAT WE WEAR
“Mom, what does this pattern mean?”
A simple question can become the beginning of a story, a conversation, or a lifelong appreciation for another culture.
DESIGNED FOR CHILDHOOD
Created to celebrate childhood — not rush it.
Liwanay pieces are made for climbing, twirling, laughing, exploring, and making memories. They are created for children to wear freely in everyday life.
OUR PROMISE
We don’t simply preserve tradition.
We help the next generation grow up wearing it. Every stitch, every color, and every pattern is our invitation to celebrate curiosity, embrace diversity, and keep beautiful stories alive — one childhood at a time.
